As actors, our job is to transform words on a page into a performance. To translate the stories of others into a theatrical language that speaks to an audience at large.

In this week long workshop, each participant will explore their own personal narratives through the elements of structure, storytelling, and directing. Unlock the hidden meanings behind their writing and explore the various ways to communicate them in a theatrical way.

Tomer Adorian is a New York based director and theatre-maker. He has worked with Fordham University, The Acting Studio, Young Patrons of Lincoln Center, Columbia University, and The Barrow Group, with which he is also a Directing Mentor for their theatre program at Quinnipiac University.
