After successfully completing his film studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and at Regent University in Virginia Beach VA, USA, Rainer Hackstock has had an impressive career as a director and screenwriter. His diverse experience spans various team positions and projects, including directing for renowned ORF and ZDF productions such as “SOKO Kitzbühel”, children’s formats such as “Tom Turbo” and “Der Schlunz”, as well as writing 25 filmed screenplays for TV series such as “Schnell ermittelt”, “Copstories”, “Die Lottosieger”, “Kommissar Rex” and “Die Rosenheim Cops”, to name but a few.

For Rainer Hackstock, the script is the most important basis for a successful movie. However, the acting skills clearly come second. Even the most impressive camera, the best sets, stirring music and an outstanding screenplay cannot hide the fact that the acting is not right.

With his many years of experience as a director and screenwriter, Rainer Hackstock brings a wealth of knowledge to the table and helps the participants to achieve optimum acting performances in the filmed demo scenes.
