In this intensive workshop, we learn how to work on a scene or monologue by making inspiring character choices. We learn to be authentic in front of the camera and to nurture our creativity without fear. We use improvisation and imagination techniques which strengthen your individual talent and help to overcome emotional blockages. We work with our body and voice, to establish a strong stage presence and learn how to engage with written dialogue.

Sarah Melis is a TV, film and theater actress and a (personal) coach. After her acting studies, she worked at theaters in the German-speaking world, such as Kammerspiele München, Theater Konstanz, and the Austrian formation theaterpunkt led by two-time Nestroy prize winner Sabine Mitterecker. In recent years, she has shifted her focus towards international film and TV.
She regularly enriches her craft in workshops by internationally renowned coaches. She has been particularly influenced by Sheila Grey und Sandra Seacat, with whom she continues working on a regular basis.
She also works as a coach outside the artistic sphere (both as a personal coach and for vocational training) in body presence, performance, and creative development.

After your email to us, we make an appointment for a preliminary conversation (Skype or phone). In a preliminary talk, the content and framework conditions of the seminar are discussed and coordinated with your goals.
